ISTE Certification for Educators is the only internationally recognized credential for educators who have demonstrated mastery of the Educators section of the ISTE Standards. It focuses on pedagogy, not on tools or devices, and is designed to change your educational practice. The ISTE Certification challenged me to stretch myself as an educator:
- Deepened and expanded my teaching skill sets in applying the educator section of the ISTE Standards in practice.
- Joined and international community of education change-makers.
- Prepared myself to model effective practice for others in my school.

IB PYP EDUCATOR
In my role as a Technology Integration Specialist, I am particularly drawn to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) framework’s transdisciplinary approach. This methodology aligns seamlessly with my expertise in bridging technology across various disciplines. The PYP embraces ICT as a transformative tool, empowering students to explore, create, and connect in a digital age. Through six key skills – investigating, creating, communicating, collaborating, organizing, and responsible citizenship – ICT fuels inquiry, fosters global connections, and supports the PYP’s mission of nurturing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people.
DIGITAL WELLNESS INSTITUTE CERTIFIED EDUCATOR
As we continue to navigate a world that is increasingly digital and connected, to rely on technology more and more, it is becoming more and more important to prioritize our digital well-being. That’s why I decided to pursue this certification through the Digital Wellness Institute which is dedicated to promoting healthy digital habits and practices, so that I can better equip myself with the tools and knowledge needed to maintain a healthy relationship with technology, to educate and empower others to cultivate a positive relationship with technology and I am confident that the Digital Wellness Institute Institute’s evidence-based approach will help me do just that.
Throughout my training, I gained a deep understanding of the impact that technology can have on our physical, mental, and emotional health.
I also learned practical strategies for helping individuals and organizations develop healthy digital habits and strategies that promote balance, productivity, and overall well-being.
GOOGLE CERTIFIED EDUCATOR
As a Technology Integration Specialist and ISTE Certified Educator I’m constantly looking for professional learning opportunities. Gaining new knowledge and improving my skills will help me be more prepared to best support my school community.
Google Certified Educator Levels 1 status status indicates that an educator is able to successfully implement Google Workspace for Education into their teaching practice in order to enhance teaching and learning.
Google Certified Educator Levels 2 status indicates that an educator is able to demonstrate expertise and advanced technology integration skills into their teaching practice in order to enhance teaching and learning.
